J. Nathalie Thibault
A practicing lawyer since 1996, Nathalie Thibault was appointed vice-chair of the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Tribunal in October 2017 for a three-year term. She was born and raised in Montreal, Québec, but has lived in Quispamsis since 2009.
Nathalie completed both a B.A. in Journalism and an LLB at the Université de Moncton. In law school, she competed in the illustrious Laskin Cup moot court national competition, earning a 3rd place overall along with her team, and placing 7th nationally for her advocacy skills. She practiced law in Fredericton and Moncton in insurance litigation, finally settling in Saint John in 2009. Here, using her mediation and collaborative law skills, Nathalie started a family law practice.
Fluently bilingual, Nathalie is currently the Collaborative Law Chair with the Canadian Bar Association, New Brunswick Division.
