Associate Professor and Associate Dean at the University of New Brunswick Faculty of Law, Michael Marin was appointed vice-chair of the Workers' Compensation Appeals Tribunal in July 2018. He currently lives in Fredericton.
Before moving to New Brunswick, Michael taught at the University of Ottawa and practiced employment law. He has received law degrees from both the University of Ottawa (LL.B.) and the University of Cambridge (LL.M.) At UNB, his teaching and research interests include administrative law, torts, and business organizations. He also clerked at the Supreme Court of Canada and worked at an international law firm in New York City.
Michael is a member of the Law Society of New Brunswick, the Law Society of Ontario, and the Bar of New York.
